I found this vintage blanket at an estate sale. It was a little rough in places, but I just loved the lavender color. I knew that I could make it into something fun so I picked it up. I was able to work on these pillow shams during nap time last week. They have white fringe from the original blanket running down each side with an opening in the back to slide the pillows in and out of.
I am so pleased with how these turned out. 
I still have more of the blanket to work with and I can't wait to see what else I can make out of this wonderful old blanket.
